Description
Velleora Home Decor's Butterfly Wind Spinner combines two things a garden ornament rarely gets right at once: it moves, and it sounds. Butterfly wings on a swivel catch the lightest breeze and rotate, while tuned chime tubes beneath them ring as the movement passes down the cord.
The wings are cut from lightweight metal and finished in translucent colour, so low sun comes through them and throws coloured light rather than a flat shadow. A ball-bearing swivel at the top is what lets the spinner keep turning in the barely-there breeze that would leave a stiffer ornament still. The metal is powder-coated against rust and the colours are UV-stable, so a summer of direct sun does not leave the wings chalky.
Hang it from a bracket, a branch, a porch hook or a shepherd's crook where it will catch moving air but not the full force of a gale. Bring it down in storms rather than letting the wings batter, and check the swivel and cord each season - a seized swivel is what stops a spinner turning long before the colour goes.
- Rotating butterfly wings on a swivel
- Ball-bearing top for light-breeze movement
- Tuned chime tubes
- Translucent UV-stable colour
- Powder-coated rust-resistant metal
- Hangs from hooks, brackets or branches

Wings And A Chime
Wings that turn and tuned chime tubes underneath. It gives you movement and sound from one thing rather than two.
A Bearing At The Top
A ball bearing top swivel is why it turns in air you can barely feel. A plain hook binds and it simply hangs there.
It Turns In Almost Nothing
Lightweight powder coated metal with translucent UV stable colour, so the wings catch light rather than looking flat.

Frequently Asked Questions
How little wind does it need?
Very little. The ball bearing swivel at the top is what lets it turn on air a plain hook would simply hold still against.
Does it make a sound?
Yes, there are tuned chime tubes below the wings, so you get movement and sound together.
Where can I hang it?
From a bracket, a branch, a porch hook or a shepherd's crook, wherever there is a little air movement.
Will the colours fade?
The colour is UV stable and the finish is rust resistant, which is what keeps it looking right through a season outdoors.
What maintenance does it need?
Check the swivel and the cord each season, and take it down in storms. Those two things are what make one last years.
