Description
This Decanter Set from Velleora Home Decor is blown into a rifle silhouette and supplied with a wooden display stand, so it functions as a bar ornament as much as a vessel.
Novelty glassware usually fails on one of two counts - the shape is unrecognisable, or it cannot actually be poured from. This is blown as a proper decanter with a working stopper and a spout that pours cleanly, and the stand holds it at an angle that shows the silhouette.
It suits a bar cart, a games room or a study, and it is an easy gift for someone who has the usual decanter already. Hand wash in warm water without detergent, which clouds glass, and dry it inverted so no water sits in the barrel. Note that a decorative decanter is for short-term decanting rather than long-term spirit storage, and it should be handled and displayed well out of reach of children.

Blown, Not Moulded
Blown glass, so each one carries small variations rather than the seam lines a mould leaves. It is a made object as much as a decanter.
A Stand Comes With It
The wooden stand is included and angles it for display, which is where it will spend most of its life on a sideboard or a study shelf.
The Stopper Works
The stopper works and the spout pours cleanly, so it is a functioning decanter rather than only an ornament.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it purely decorative?
No, it works properly. The stopper seats and the spout pours cleanly, though the shape and the stand mean most owners display it as well.
Does the stand come with it?
Yes, a wooden display stand is included, and it angles the piece for display rather than laying it flat.
How long can I keep a spirit in it?
Days and weeks rather than months. Any decanter suits short term decanting, and the bottle remains the better place for long keeping.
How should I wash it?
Warm water by hand with no detergent, then dry it inverted. Detergent clouds glass over time and is difficult to rinse out of a narrow form.
Anything to be careful about?
It is glass and it is a display piece, so keep it out of reach of children and site it where it cannot be knocked from a shelf.
