Travertine Japanese LED Wall Sconce

The Travertine Stone Wall Lamp is a single block of stone with light emerging from a slot along one edge. There is no shade, no visible bulb and no metal on show: the stone is the fixture, and the light appears to come out of it.

Japanese design restraint suits travertine well, because the material already carries pattern and pitting that would compete with any added detail. Every block differs in colour and surface, so no two fittings match exactly.

Stone is heavy, so the wall fixing needs to be rated for the weight rather than a plasterboard plug. Velleora Home Decor keeps the fixings concealed. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the porous surface dusted with a soft dry brush rather than a wet cloth.
