Description
Description
The Bird Shape Table Lamp is turned and carved from wood into a simplified bird form, with the light emerging from beneath so the body is silhouetted rather than lit through. It reads as a small wooden sculpture that happens to glow.
Wood is the reason it works. The same shape in plastic would be a novelty; in turned timber with visible grain it becomes an object that can stay on a shelf year round rather than being seasonal or childish.
Rechargeable operation means no cable interrupting the form and no socket dictating where it sits. Velleora Home Decor sanded the timber smooth throughout. Charge over USB, wipe with a dry cloth, and keep it out of persistent damp which will raise the grain.
- Simplified bird form turned from solid wood
- Lit from beneath, body silhouetted
- Visible grain keeps it sculptural, not novelty
- Rechargeable: no cable, no socket needed
- Keep dry; wipe with a dry cloth

Carved, Not Moulded
The bird form is turned and carved from solid wood with the grain running through it, sanded smooth all over. It reads as a made object, not a moulded one.
Lit From Beneath
Light comes from under the body, so the bird sits as a silhouette above a soft pool rather than glowing all over like a lamp.
No Cable In Use
It charges over USB and then runs free of any cable, so it moves from a shelf to a table to a windowsill without a socket in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really solid wood?
Yes, turned and carved with the grain visible and sanded smooth throughout, which is why no two are quite identical.
How is it charged?
Over USB. Once charged it runs cordless, so there is no cable trailing across the shelf while it is in use.
How bright is it?
It is an accent light. Enough to glow on a shelf or a bedside table in the evening rather than to light the room.
Where should I avoid keeping it?
Out of persistent damp. Steam and standing moisture raise the grain on solid timber, so keep it clear of bathrooms.
How do I clean it?
A dry cloth over the timber. Nothing damp, and no sprays, which would mark the finish.
