Rustic Rattan & Wood Wall Sconce

The Rustic Wooden Wall Sconce combines a solid timber backplate with a handwoven rattan shade, pairing two natural materials that age at different rates and in complementary ways. The wood darkens slightly with time; the rattan lightens. Together they settle rather than deteriorate.

Light escapes through the woven shade in a scattered pattern, printing fine shadows onto the wall behind and around the fitting. That patterned cast is the main visual event, and it is why a rattan sconce belongs in a room where you want texture rather than a clean beam.

Each shade is woven by hand, so density and pattern differ between pieces. Velleora Home Decor kept the fixings concealed behind the backplate. Keep natural materials out of persistent damp, use a low-wattage bulb, and have installation carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated.
