Description
Velleora Home Decor's Outdoor Catch Ball Family Game is the set that gets a whole group playing within a minute of unpacking, whatever the age range. Each player takes a hand-held catcher and the ball passes between them - and because the catcher does the difficult part, a rally builds instead of collapsing on the first throw.
The catchers are moulded with a deep basket and a gripping face, so a ball that arrives slightly off target still stays caught. The rims are rounded and the handles textured for hands that are wet from a pool or sandy from a beach. The whole set is light, brightly coloured so nothing gets left behind in long grass, and small enough to live permanently in a beach bag or the boot of a car.
Play it on grass, sand or a quiet park path with plenty of space between players and anyone sitting nearby - and keep to the soft ball supplied rather than substituting a hard one. Rinse salt and grit off the gripping faces after a beach day and dry the set before packing it away.
- Multiple catchers and a soft ball included
- Deep basket with gripping face
- Rounded rims and textured handles
- Bright, easy-to-spot colours
- Lightweight and packs small
- Rinse clean after beach use

A Basket, Not A Bat
A deep basket with a gripping face catches throws that were never going to be caught. Games last longer when nobody keeps chasing the ball.
Grip For Wet Hands
Rounded rims and textured handles, so wet or sandy hands keep hold of it rather than sending it into the sea.
Five Balls Included
Bright colours, which sounds trivial until you are looking for a ball in long grass at the end of an afternoon.

Frequently Asked Questions
What comes in the set?
A set of hand held catchers plus five soft balls, in your choice of pink, blue, yellow or green.
Why a basket rather than a bat?
Because the basket catches for you. Off target throws still end in a catch, so a game between mixed ages actually keeps going.
Will young children manage it?
Yes, that is much of the point. The deep basket and the gripping face do the difficult part for them.
Can I use a different ball?
Use only the supplied soft ball. A harder ball will not grip the face and is not safe at the speeds this game is played at.
How do I clean it?
Rinse the gripping faces and dry them after beach use. Sand in the face is what stops it catching.
