Nordic Globe Glass Wall Lamp

The Nordic Globe Glass Wall Lamp holds an opal glass sphere on a slim backplate, which is one of the few wall fittings that genuinely works in both a bathroom and a bedroom. The globe diffuses completely, so there is no glare from any angle, and there are no crevices for steam or dust to collect in.

Either side of a bathroom mirror, a pair of globes lights a face evenly from the front, removing the shadows an overhead fitting casts under the eyes and chin. In a bedroom the same pair gives a soft symmetrical glow that works as low ambient light rather than reading light.

Velleora Home Decor kept the backplate small so the globe appears to float against the wall. It takes a small-format bulb. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and bathroom installation must follow the appropriate zone regulations and IP requirements for your region.
