The Linear LED Wall Sconce is a straight bar of light rather than a shaded fixture, which makes it one of the few wall lights that works equally well in a bathroom and a dining room. There is no shade to collect dust or steam and nothing protruding to catch a shoulder in a narrow space.
Mounted horizontally above a mirror it lights a face evenly from the front, which is what overhead bathroom lighting fails to do. Turned vertical either side of the same mirror, it removes shadows entirely. In a living or dining room the same bar becomes a clean line of light above a sideboard.
