Description
The Modern Glass Pendant Light is designed for ambient rather than task lighting. The glass is treated so it holds and spreads the light instead of letting it pass straight through, which turns the shade itself into the visible light source and softens everything below it.
That matters in a living room or a bedroom, where a bright directional pendant is usually the wrong instrument. Here the fixture reads as a glowing form at ceiling height, lifting the general light level without creating a harsh pool on a surface underneath.
Velleora Home Decor offers a range of sizes and glass tones, so a single pendant can anchor a small room or several can be grouped in a larger one. Cable drop is adjustable at installation and it takes a standard bulb, with a warm low-output bulb best suiting the diffused effect. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- Treated glass spreads light through the shade
- Ambient rather than task output
- Range of sizes and glass tones
- Adjustable drop, standard bulb fitting
- Warm low-output bulbs suit the diffusion best

The Shade Is The Light

Ambient, Not A Spotlight
In a living room or bedroom a bright directional pendant is the wrong instrument. This one reads as a glowing form at ceiling height, lifting the light level without a harsh pool below.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it bright enough to read by?
It is designed for ambient light rather than task light, which is exactly what a living room or bedroom ceiling wants. Add a reading lamp beside the chair.
Will I see the bulb through the glass?
No. The treated glass holds the light in the material, so the whole shade glows evenly rather than showing a bright point inside.
Which bulb suits it best?
A warm low output bulb. The diffusion works best with gentle light, and a very bright bulb undoes the softness the glass is there to create.
Can I group several together?
Yes, and in a larger room it looks superb. Mixing two or three sizes at staggered heights gives the group real depth.
Can I set the drop height?
Yes, the cable drop is adjustable at installation, so each one can sit at exactly the height the room needs.
