No. It takes one E27 screw fit bulb. Because the globe is clear, a frosted or opal bulb is kinder on the eye than a bare filament in a hallway.
How do I clean the globe?
Switch it off and let it cool fully, unscrew the globe, wash it in warm soapy water, dry it completely and refit it. Never wet a warm glass shade.
Who should install it?
A qualified electrician, with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit. It mounts on a rear plate over a standard back box.
Will it mark with fingerprints?
Polished metal does show a fingerprint, and a dry microfibre cloth takes it straight off. Handle the globe rather than the plate when you clean it.
