Mireta Retro Glass Pendant

The Mireta Glass Pendant Light uses retro-coloured glass in tones that were common in mid-century interiors and have come back around: smoked amber, olive, dusty rose. The colour is in the glass itself rather than applied to the surface, so it will not scratch off and it tints the light passing through.

Hung over a table, that tint changes the whole mood of a room after dark, warming the space in a way a clear pendant cannot. It is a decision worth making deliberately: the paler tones stay closer to neutral, while the deeper ones commit the room to a particular atmosphere.

Velleora Home Decor kept the hardware slim so the glass carries the design. Drop length is adjustable at installation, and the fitting takes a standard bulb, with a clear filament bulb showing the glass colour best. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the glass cleaned dry.
