Description
Velleora Home Decor's Kids BBQ Grill Set gives a child their own barbecue to run alongside the real one. The clever part is what happens when the toy food goes on the grill: heat-sensitive paint changes the colour of each piece as it cooks, so a child can see a burger go from raw to done and turn it back over when it cools.
A soft light and a harmless smoke effect complete the illusion without anything getting hot - nothing on this set produces real heat or flame. The kit includes toy meats and vegetables, tongs, a spatula and a plate, all moulded with smooth rounded edges. The pieces wipe clean, and the grill packs down into itself so a set can be tidied away into a toy box rather than left across a patio.
It suits pretend play in the garden, on a patio or indoors on a wet afternoon. Adults should supervise play and keep the set well away from the real barbecue, which is hot for a long time after cooking stops. Check the battery compartment is closed before every use, and keep small parts away from children under three.

The Food Changes Colour
The toy food changes colour as it cooks and goes back as it cools. That reversal is what makes children play the game again rather than once.
Light And Smoke, No Heat
There is a light and smoke effect but no real heat and no flame. Nothing on it gets hot, which is what makes it a toy.
Everything In The Box
Toy meats and vegetables, tongs, a spatula and a plate all come with it, and the grill packs back down into itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does anything actually get hot?
No. There is a light and smoke effect for the look of it, but no real heat and no flame anywhere.
How does the food change colour?
Heat sensitive paint on the toy food responds to the effect and then reverses as it cools, so it can be done again and again.
What comes with it?
Toy meats and vegetables, tongs, a spatula and a plate. It is a complete set rather than a grill on its own.
Does it pack away?
Yes, the grill packs down into itself, so it goes into a cupboard rather than staying out across a playroom.
What age is it for?
Not suitable for children under three because of small parts. Adult supervision is needed, and the battery compartment must be closed before use.
