Description
Description
The Compact Grim Reaper Statue is scaled for a mantel or a hall table rather than a garden, which makes it usable in a flat where full-height figures are simply not an option. Compact decorations get put out; large ones stay in the loft.
The hood and robe are moulded with deep folds, and a matte finish holds shadow inside them so the face stays in darkness from most angles. That shadow is where the whole effect lives on a piece this size.
It stores in a shoebox and comes out each year rather than being replaced. Velleora Home Decor weighted the base so it does not topple on a busy surface. Not a toy: keep away from children under three and pets, and dust it with a soft brush rather than a cloth.

Deep Folds In The Robe
The hood and robe are sculpted with real depth rather than shallow surface lines, so side lighting throws proper shadow into the folds.
Sized For A Mantel
Large enough to be the thing people look at, small enough to sit on a shelf or hall table without pushing everything else out of the way.
Weighted To Stay Put
The base carries the weight, so it holds its position on a narrow surface instead of tipping the first time someone brushes past.

Frequently Asked Questions
How tall is it?
Check the listed measurements. It is deliberately a compact piece, meant to work on a mantel or console rather than standing on the floor.
What is it made from?
A moulded resin style material with a matte finish, weighted through the base. It feels solid in the hand rather than hollow and light.
Can it go outside?
A covered porch for an evening is fine. It is made as an indoor piece, so rain, frost and long sun exposure will all take the edge off the finish over time.
How do I clean it?
A soft brush works into the folds of the robe better than a cloth. Wipe the smooth areas with a barely damp cloth, dry it straight after, and keep solvents away from the matte finish.
Does it only suit Halloween?
In a room built around dark walls and heavy furniture it reads as a sculptural piece rather than seasonal decoration, so plenty of people leave it out all year.
