A mop pushes dirt around a textured surface; it does not lift it out of grout lines or the grain of decking. Stiff bristles do, and the long handle lets real weight be applied through the arms and shoulders rather than the wrists.

Two versions are offered. The head pivots to reach along skirtings and into corners, and the bristles are rated for outdoor as well as indoor use, so the same brush handles a bathroom floor and a patio. Rinse and hang the brush to dry after use rather than standing it on its bristles, which splays them. Test on delicate or polished surfaces first - stiff bristles will scratch some finishes.
