Description
Description
The Digital Alarm Clock combines the time, date, temperature and alarm on one display, which removes three separate objects from a bedside table. The layout keeps the time largest so it stays readable at a glance in the dark.
Display brightness adjusts down to a level that does not light the room, which is the failure of most digital clocks: a bright display on a nightstand is genuinely disruptive to sleep. At the lowest setting the numbers stay legible without glowing across the bed.
Several alarm settings cover weekdays and weekends separately, so the clock does not need resetting twice a week. Velleora Home Decor kept the controls on the top surface where they can be found by feel in the dark. Runs on mains or battery backup depending on version.
- Time, date, temperature and alarm on one display
- Brightness dims to a sleep-friendly level
- Separate weekday and weekend alarm settings
- Controls on the top, findable by feel
- Mains power with battery backup

Everything On One Screen
Time, date, temperature and the alarm state are all readable in a glance, so you are not cycling through modes to find what you wanted.
Dim It For The Bedroom
The display drops low enough not to light the room at night, which is the difference between a clock you keep and one that ends up in a drawer.
Weekday And Weekend Alarms
Set the working week once and a later weekend time separately, so nothing has to be changed twice a week to get a lie in.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is it powered?
From the mains, with a battery backup that keeps the time and alarms through a power cut. See the listing for the backup cell type.
How dim does the display go?
Low enough to sit beside a bed without lighting the room. If you are sensitive to light at night, turn it to the lowest level and face it slightly away from the pillow.
Is the temperature accurate?
It reads the air around the unit, so keep it away from a radiator, a sunny sill or a draught if you want it to reflect the room properly.
How loud is the alarm?
Loud enough to wake a heavy sleeper from a bedside table. It builds rather than starting at full volume, which is a gentler way to be woken.
Are the controls easy to find in the dark?
They sit on the top surface, so you can reach over and press without looking. That is deliberate, since fumbling around the back at six in the morning helps nobody.
