This Candle Lamp from Velleora Home Decor melts a candle from above with a warming bulb rather than lighting the wick. The scent throw is arguably better - the full surface of the wax melts evenly instead of only the pool around a flame - and there is no soot, no smoke and no open flame.
It also means a jar candle burns down evenly instead of tunnelling, so an expensive candle is used to the bottom rather than abandoned with wax stuck up the sides. Wickless wax melts work on it just as well.
Five finishes are offered, styled to sit on a table as a lamp rather than an appliance - the light it gives is a warm downward glow, so it doubles as a small accent light.
