Description
This Dish Rack from Velleora Home Decor sits on a worktop with a drainboard beneath it that channels water back into the sink, so a draining rack does not leave a spreading pool on the counter.
Stainless steel is the right material for something permanently wet. Coated wire racks chip at every contact point and then rust from the inside out, usually within a year; stainless does not, which is why it costs more and lasts considerably longer.
Two sizes are offered. The rack takes plates on edge with space for glasses, cutlery and a chopping board, and the drainboard angle can usually be set toward the sink. Empty and wipe the drainboard regularly rather than letting water stand in it, and descale it periodically in a hard water area - standing water leaves marks on any finish over time.
- Drainboard channels water to the sink
- Stainless steel - no chipping or rust
- Holds plates, glasses, cutlery and boards
- Two size options
- Compact countertop footprint
- Empty the drainboard regularly

Steel, So Nothing Chips
Stainless steel does not chip, flake or rust its way through a year the way a coated rack does. It is the part of the kitchen most often replaced too soon.
Water Runs Back To The Sink
The drainboard channels water back into the sink instead of pooling on the worktop. Angle it toward the sink and it takes care of itself.
Plates On Edge
Plates stand on edge, glasses and cutlery have their own places, and a chopping board leans in at the end. A lot of washing up in a small footprint.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it rust?
It is stainless steel, so it does not chip or flake the way coated racks do. Drying it after heavy use is still the kindest thing you can do for any metal in a kitchen.
Where does the water go?
Into the sink. The drainboard is angled to channel water back, and the angle is usually adjustable so you can aim it properly for your worktop.
How much does it hold?
Plates on edge, glasses, cutlery and a chopping board, in a footprint meant for a domestic worktop rather than a commercial kitchen.
What sizes and colours are there?
Two sizes, in black and white, so it can sit quietly against a worktop rather than dominating it.
How do I keep it clean?
Empty and wipe the drainboard regularly rather than letting water sit. In a hard water area, descale it now and again and it will look new for years.
