Description
This Salad Spinner from Velleora Home Decor spins leaves dry with a pump handle, throwing water off washed salad by centrifugal force in seconds rather than shaking it in a colander and patting it with a towel.
Dry leaves are what makes a dressed salad work. Dressing does not cling to wet leaves - it slides off and pools in the bottom of the bowl, which is why a home salad often tastes of nothing while the base of the bowl tastes of vinaigrette.
The outer bowl doubles as a serving bowl, so salad is spun and served in the same vessel with one thing to wash. It also spins herbs, berries and rinsed pasta. The basket lifts out as a colander. Wash the parts by hand or on a dishwasher top rack, and let the mechanism dry fully rather than storing it assembled and damp.

Dry leaves in seconds
Centrifugal force throws the water off washed salad in seconds, instead of shaking a colander and patting leaves with a towel.
Spin it, then serve in it
Dressing does not cling to wet leaves, it slides off and pools in the base of the bowl. Dry leaves fix that, and the outer bowl goes straight to the table so there is one thing to wash.
Herbs, berries and pasta too
The basket lifts out as a colander, so Velleora Home Decor built one tool that rinses and dries far more than salad.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do dry leaves matter?
Dressing cannot cling to a wet leaf. It slides off and pools, which is why a home salad often tastes of nothing while the bottom of the bowl tastes of vinaigrette.
How does the pump work?
Press the handle a few times and the inner basket spins, throwing water outward into the bowl. A few pumps is enough for a full basket.
Can I serve straight from it?
Yes. Lift out the basket and the outer bowl becomes the serving bowl, so salad is spun and served in the same vessel.
What else can I spin in it?
Herbs, berries and rinsed pasta all come out drier, and the basket doubles as a colander for everyday rinsing.
How should I wash and store it?
By hand or on a dishwasher top rack. Let the mechanism dry fully rather than storing it assembled and damp.
