Description
This Lunch Box from Velleora Home Decor is stainless steel throughout rather than plastic, which changes how long it lasts. Steel does not stain from tomato, does not hold curry smell, does not scratch into a haze and does not crack when dropped.
It also removes the question of reheating food in plastic, since a steel box is simply not microwaved - food is decanted onto a plate, or eaten as it is. For anyone reducing plastic in daily use, a lunch box is one of the easiest swaps to make permanent.
Three size and configuration options are offered, with a sealed lid that resists leaks in a bag. Hand wash to protect the exterior finish and the seal, wash the lid and gasket separately, and replace the gasket if it hardens. Never microwave it or put it in an oven, and note it is not insulated - food travels at the temperature it went in.

Steel All The Way Through
Steel throughout means no staining, no lingering smell, no scratching and no cracking. It is the box you still own in ten years.
A Gasket, Not A Push Fit
The lid seals on a gasket rather than pressing on, which is what makes it genuinely leak resistant in a bag rather than only on a table.
Three Configurations
Three configurations across three colours, so you can size it to a light lunch or a full meal with sides.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the whole thing steel?
Yes, steel throughout, which is why it does not stain, hold smells, scratch or crack the way plastic eventually does.
Is it insulated?
No, it is a sealed steel box rather than a vacuum insulated one. It keeps food contained and clean rather than hot.
Will it leak in a bag?
The gasket and lid resist leaks well. Very thin liquids are always the hardest test for any lunch box, so carry soup upright.
Can I microwave it?
No. Steel does not go in a microwave or an oven. Transfer the food to a plate to heat it.
How should I wash it?
Hand wash it, and wash the lid and gasket separately. Replace the gasket if it hardens, since a stiff gasket has stopped sealing.
