Description
This Ice Maker from Velleora Home Decor produces bullet ice - hollow cylindrical cubes that chill a drink faster than solid cubes because there is more surface area in contact with the liquid.
The shape also means they are quicker to make. A first batch is ready in minutes rather than the hours a freezer tray needs, and the machine keeps cycling, so a party or a barbecue does not run dry halfway through.
The black shell keeps it looking like an appliance rather than a plastic box, and the compact footprint suits a worktop, a garden bar or a caravan. No plumbing is needed - fill the reservoir and plug it into a standard socket. Use fresh drinking water, empty and dry the reservoir when not in use, clean it regularly, stand it level with vents clear, and let it settle after moving before switching on.

Hollow Cubes Chill Faster
Bullet ice is a hollow cylinder, so more surface touches the drink than a solid cube of the same size. The result is a glass that goes cold noticeably quicker.
Nobody Runs Out Halfway
A first batch is ready in minutes rather than the hours a freezer tray needs, and the machine keeps cycling, so a party or a barbecue does not run dry.
Small Enough To Take Along

Frequently Asked Questions
What is bullet ice?
A hollow cylindrical cube. The hollow centre means more surface is in contact with the drink, so it chills faster than a solid cube.
How quickly does it make ice?
A first batch in minutes rather than the hours a freezer tray takes, and it keeps cycling afterwards to build up the basket.
Does it need plumbing in?
No. Fill the reservoir with fresh drinking water and plug it into a standard socket, which is why it works in a caravan or a garden bar.
How much room does it need?
Very little on the worktop itself, but leave the vents clear on each side and stand it level so the compressor can work properly.
How do I look after it between uses?
Empty and dry the reservoir when it is not in use and clean it regularly, and let it settle for a while after moving before switching on.
