Description
The Petal Fluffy Floral Throw takes a soft botanical design and gives it a raised, brushed surface, so the flowers sit slightly proud of the ground cloth. The effect is closer to embroidery than print, and it catches light differently as the throw is moved, which stops the pattern from looking flat when it is draped rather than laid out.
The hand is deliberately plush without being heavy. It suits a bedroom more than a hard-working family sofa: this is the throw that finishes a made bed or softens a bedroom chair, rather than the one that gets dragged around by children and dogs. Velleora Home Decor chose muted floral tones that sit against neutral bedding without dominating it.
Cotton content keeps it breathable enough to sleep under on a mild night. Wash cool on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low; the raised areas recover their loft in the dryer better than on a line. Avoid fabric softener, which coats the brushed fibres and dulls the surface texture over time.
- Raised brushed floral surface, embroidery-like effect
- Plush hand without excess weight
- Muted tones that sit under neutral bedding
- Breathable enough for mild nights
- Tumble dry low to restore loft, no softener

The Flowers Stand Proud
The floral pattern is raised in the pile rather than printed flat, so you can feel the shapes under your hand as well as see them from across the room.
Muted, Not Bright
The palette is held back deliberately. Muted tones sit next to an existing sofa instead of fighting it, which is why a patterned throw so often ends up folded in a cupboard.
Tumble Dry To Refluff
A short tumble on low lifts the pile back up after a wash, so it keeps its depth rather than slowly flattening the way a pressed pattern does.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the pattern printed or woven?
It is raised in the pile, not printed on the surface, which is why the flowers hold their shape when the light hits the throw from the side.
What colours will it sit with?
It is built around muted tones, so it works with neutrals, natural wood and most greys and greens without competing. It is a layer rather than a statement.
How do I wash it?
Warm machine wash with like colours, then a short low tumble. The tumble is the step that matters, because it is what brings the raised pattern back up.
Does the pile flatten with use?
Where it is sat on most, it will settle. A wash and a low tumble restores it, and the raised weave recovers far better than a flat printed finish would.
What size is it?
The measurements are in the listing. It is cut as a sofa throw for one adult rather than as a bed sized cover.
