The Nordic Luxury LED Wall Lamp is machined from aluminium rather than cast or pressed, which shows in the crispness of its edges and the evenness of its anodised finish. Aluminium also sheds heat efficiently, so the LED inside runs cooler and holds its output longer over the life of the fitting.
The form is a plain rectangular block with light escaping at one edge, so the wall is lit rather than the fixture itself being bright. There is no glare from any angle, which is what allows it to be mounted at eye height in a corridor without discomfort.
Velleora Home Decor kept the anodised surface matte to avoid reflections. Integrated LED removes bulb changes entirely. It fits a standard recessed back box, and installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit.

What happens when the LED ends?
Integrated LEDs are rated for tens of thousands of hours, so in normal domestic use that is many years away. The unit is replaced rather than rebulbed at that point.
Will the finish mark?
Anodised aluminium is hard wearing but will show a scratch from an abrasive cloth. Dust it dry and keep polishes and solvents away from it.
How is it mounted?
It fixes to the wall or ceiling with the supplied backplate. As a hardwired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician with the power isolated.
