Description
Description
The Astra Wall Light carries two glass globes on a single gold-toned arm, one above the other, so the fixture lights a taller section of wall than a single globe could. In a stairwell or beside a full-length mirror that vertical spread is exactly what is needed.
Both globes emit in all directions, which means the wall behind is lit as well as the room in front and there is no hard shadow around the fitting. Gold tone warms the light before it even leaves the fixture.
Velleora Home Decor offers clear and opal globes. Opal conceals the bulb entirely; clear leaves a decorative filament visible as part of the design. It takes small-format bulbs. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated first.
- Two glass globes on one gold-toned arm
- Vertical spread suits stairwells and mirrors
- Omnidirectional output, no hard shadows
- Clear or opal globe options
- Small-format bulb fittings

Stacked, Not Side By Side
The vertical arrangement suits a narrow stretch of wall where a horizontal fitting would feel cramped, such as beside a door or in an alcove.
Clear Or Opal Globes
Clear gives the most light and shows the bulb. Opal hides it entirely, which is the easier choice where people pass close by.
Gold Against Glass
The warm arm reads clearly against the pale glowing globes, so the fitting still has presence when the light is switched off.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who should install it?
A qualified electrician, with the circuit isolated first. It is a hardwired wall fitting rather than a plug in lamp.
What bulbs does it take?
Two small format bulbs, so check the listed cap type and maximum wattage per globe. Use a matched pair, since a mismatch is very obvious.
How much wall does it need?
Check the listed height and allow clear space above and below. Being vertical it needs headroom more than width, which suits a narrow wall.
Will the gold tarnish?
Indoors on a wall, no. Keep it out of a steamy bathroom and wipe it with a dry cloth rather than a polish and it holds its tone.
How do I clean it?
With the power off and the bulbs cool, a dry microfibre cloth over the globes and the arm. Never spray anything at the fitting.
