Description
Description
The Nordic Dome Ceiling Light is a plain hemisphere fixed close to the ceiling, which is the simplest form a ceiling fitting can take. In a hallway, where the ceiling is glanced at rather than looked at, that simplicity is exactly right.
The dome shape spreads light outward as well as down, so a corridor is lit along its length rather than in a series of bright patches beneath each fitting. That continuity is what stops a hallway feeling like a tunnel with lamps in it.
It takes small-format bulbs, so brightness and warmth remain your choice. Velleora Home Decor kept the trim minimal and offers two finishes. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit.

A Hemisphere, Nothing Added
One clean half sphere with minimal trim. There is nothing applied to it, which is exactly why it sits quietly in a Nordic room.
Close To The Ceiling
Fixed tight to the plaster, so it clears heads on a landing and does not crowd a low ceiling upstairs.
Two Finishes To Choose
Take the finish that disappears into your ceiling or the one that reads as a deliberate dome against it. Both keep the same simple shape.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which bulbs does it take?
Small format bulbs, not included, so you can choose the warmth and output that suits the room.
How far does it hang down?
Very little. It is fixed close to the ceiling, which is what makes it workable on a landing or in a room with limited height.
What finishes are offered?
Two, so the dome can either blend into a pale ceiling or stand as a quiet dark shape against it.
Where does it work best?
Hallways, landings, bedrooms and small rooms, anywhere you want the ceiling light to stay out of the conversation.
How is it installed?
It is hard wired to the ceiling, so have a qualified electrician install it with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit.
