Description
Velleora Home Decor's Bird Feeder Camera puts a lens where the birds actually land. A camera is built into the roof of the feeder looking down at the perch, so instead of watching a distant shape through a window you get a close view of a goldfinch or a nuthatch filling the frame.
Motion detection triggers a recording whenever a bird arrives, and the app sends the clip to your phone - which means you see the visitors that come while you are at work, not only the ones that come at breakfast. Clips are stored to review and share, the camera connects over your home wi-fi, and a rechargeable battery with an optional solar top-up keeps it running without a cable down the garden. The housing is weather-sealed and the seed hopper holds enough for several days.
Mount it within reach of your wi-fi and where you can take it down easily, because it still needs the same care as any feeder: empty and scrub it every week or two, never let old seed go mouldy, and site it near cover but out of a cat's jumping range.
- Built-in HD camera over the perch
- Motion-triggered recording with app alerts
- Rechargeable battery, solar option
- Wi-fi connected clip storage

Set it up in minutes
Mount it, fill it, pair it with the app and you are done. No wiring and no tools beyond what is already in the box.

A sealed housing and a sloped roof keep the seed dry and the camera clear through rain, wind and frost. It stays out all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How clear is the camera footage?
It records in HD with a wide angle lens aimed at the perch, so birds fill the frame and you can pick out markings and colours easily.
Do I need to run a power cable?
No. It runs on its own rechargeable battery, so you can hang it anywhere in the garden that gets good bird traffic.
How much seed does it hold?
The hopper holds a generous fill that lasts through several days of regular visits, and it opens wide from the top for a quick top up.
Will rain damage it?
The housing is weather resistant and the overhanging roof sheds water away from both the lens and the seed chamber.
How do I clean it?
Empty the hopper, wipe the chamber with a damp cloth and dry it before refilling. The smooth surfaces mean there are no awkward corners to reach.
