Wilhelm Designer Glass Table Lamp
The Wilhelm Table Lamp stacks a glass shade directly onto a glass base with no metal stem between them, so the whole lamp is one continuous translucent form. Light travels down through the base as well as out through the shade, which means the object glows in its entirety rather than only at the top.
That construction is difficult and is the reason the lamp costs what it does. Metal stems are cheap and easy; a full glass body has to be blown and joined so that the join disappears. The result is a piece that holds a console table on its own without any other styling.
Velleora Home Decor sources these in small runs, so tone and bubble pattern vary between pieces. It takes a standard low-wattage bulb; glass holds heat, so keep the wattage modest. Lift by the base rather than the shade, and clean with a soft dry cloth only.
