U-Frame Acrylic Photo Stand

The U-Frame Acrylic Photo Stand does away with the frame entirely. A single curved sheet of clear acrylic slides over the print and stands on its own, holding the photograph upright with nothing surrounding it. The image is the object, and the support is close to invisible from the front.

A timber base grounds the piece and stops it reading as purely disposable, giving the acrylic something warm to sit against. The curve at the top means there is no hard edge cutting across the top of the print, and prints can be swapped in seconds by sliding the old one out. Velleora Home Decor polished the acrylic edges rather than leaving them cut.

Because it takes up so little visual space it works in clusters on a shelf where conventional frames would look heavy, and it suits smaller prints, postcards and instant-camera photographs particularly well. Handle acrylic with a soft dry cloth only; paper towel and solvent cleaners will scratch and cloud the surface over time.
