Wooden Lotus Flush Ceiling Light
The Scandinavian Wooden Lotus Ceiling Light arranges resin petals around a timber centre, so the fixture opens outward from the ceiling like the flower it is named for. Resin allows petal shapes that neither glass nor metal could hold at this thinness.
Light passes through the resin rather than around it, so each petal glows individually and the fixture reads as a cluster of soft shapes instead of one lit disc. Between the petals, small shadows give the whole thing depth from directly below.
Iron framing carries the weight while staying invisible from the room. Velleora Home Decor finished the timber centre to show grain. It mounts flush, clearing doors in low rooms, and installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated first.
