Orbis Nordic LED Wall Light

The Orbis Wall Light is a plain disc mounted proud of the wall, lit from behind so a ring of light appears around its edge while the face itself stays dark. That reversal is what makes it interesting: the fixture is a silhouette and the wall does the glowing.

Backlit fittings are comfortable in a way front-emitting ones are not, because no light source is ever in your line of sight. In a bedroom or a corridor the effect is a soft halo on the plaster and nothing bright to look at.

Velleora Home Decor kept the disc face matte so it does not catch reflections from other lights in the room. Integrated LED removes bulb changes. It fits a standard recessed back box, and installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated.
