The Natural Bamboo Pendant Lamp is woven by hand from bamboo strips, so light escapes through the gaps in the weave and prints a pattern of thin shadows across the ceiling above it. That upward cast is as much a part of the fixture as the light it puts on the table below.

Bamboo is light for its strength, which means a wide shade can hang from a standard ceiling rose without special fixings. It also warms the light passing through it, giving an amber tone that suits a veranda, a conservatory or a room styled around natural materials.

Because each shade is woven individually, the weave density and exact shadow pattern vary between pieces. Velleora Home Decor sets the drop adjustable at installation. Keep bamboo out of persistent damp, use a low-wattage bulb, and have installation carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated.
