Glass Globe Polished Metal Wall Sconce

The globe form has stayed in use for a century because it works from every angle - there is no bad side to it, which makes the sconce easy to place on a wall seen from more than one direction, such as a hallway or a stair turn. Light spreads evenly rather than cutting a hard line.

Two finishes are offered. It takes a standard screw-fit bulb, and the globe unscrews from the plate for cleaning. Mounting is a rear plate over a standard back box; the fixture is hard-wired and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Let the globe cool before removing it, and keep polished surfaces free of fingerprints with a soft dry cloth.
