Minimalist Pendulum Wall Clock

The Minimalist Pendulum Wall Clock keeps the swinging pendulum of a traditional longcase clock and discards everything else. There is no case, no chime and no ornament: an acrylic face, a slim wooden rod and a disc that swings beneath it.

Movement is the reason to choose it. A static clock is a fixed object on a wall; a pendulum introduces slow motion into a room, which reads as calming rather than distracting because the rhythm is steady and silent.

Velleora Home Decor paired it with a silent sweep movement, so the swing is visible but inaudible. Hang from a single fixing on a solid wall, and make sure the clock hangs true, as a pendulum will not swing evenly on a tilted mount. Dust the acrylic dry to avoid scratching it.
