Modern Hanging Pendant Dining Light

This Ceiling Pendant from Velleora Home Decor is made to hang over a dining table, where a fixture is seen at eye level for the length of a meal and has to earn its position. The shade is proportioned to light the table surface generously while keeping the bulb out of the sightline of anyone sitting at it.

The drop is adjustable at installation, so the pendant can be set at the right height for the table and the ceiling rather than the height it happens to arrive at - usually around 75 to 90cm above the table top for a dining setting. Twelve size, finish and configuration options are offered, including multi-light versions for longer tables.

It takes standard screw-fit bulbs so brightness and colour temperature stay in your control, and the metal shade wipes clean with a dry cloth. Mounting is a standard ceiling plate over a junction box; the fixture is hard-wired and should be installed by a qualified electrician, who will also confirm the ceiling can carry the weight.
