June Retro Glass Ceiling Light

The June Retro Glass Flush Mount takes a mid-century glass shade profile and mounts it tight to the ceiling, which is how these fixtures were originally designed before pendants took over. The proportions are period-correct; the internals are not.

Textured glass diffuses the light while keeping the shade visually interesting in daylight, when a flush fitting is usually just a blank shape overhead. That texture also hides the bulb from directly below, so there is no bright point when you look up.

Because it mounts flush it clears doors and works in low-ceilinged rooms and hallways where a period pendant would be impractical. Velleora Home Decor kept the trim narrow. It takes a standard bulb. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated first.
