Drelis Scandinavian Wooden Wall Lamp

The Drelis Wall Lamp keeps its body to a plain timber form with a single emitting face, which is about as reduced as Scandinavian wall lighting gets. There is no shade, no visible bulb and no metal on show anywhere on the fitting.

Because the emitting face is flat and diffused, the light leaves as a soft even field rather than a beam. That makes it comfortable at eye height in a corridor, and it means the fixture never produces the hard scallop that directional sconces leave on plaster.
