Heart Pattern Non Slip Entry Door Mat

Velleora Home Decor's Heart Pattern Door Mat gives a doorway something to say without shouting. A repeating heart design is woven into a dense polyester pile, so it reads as a pattern from a distance and as texture close up - a step up from a plain coir mat that has gone grey at the edges.

The pile is the working part: fibres are cut to a length that scrapes grit off a sole and then holds it down in the mat rather than releasing it back onto a hall floor. A rubber backing grips tile, laminate and boards so the mat does not slide when someone steps on it at an angle, which is the point at which a loose mat becomes a fall risk. It vacuums clean, and lighter sizes can be shaken out or machine washed cool.

Use it inside a front door, in a porch, a boot room or a utility. Shake it out weekly rather than leaving grit to work into the base, and lift it occasionally so the floor beneath can dry - a mat left damp on wood for months will mark it. Available in a range of sizes and colourways.
