The Bamboo Woven Desk Lamp puts a handwoven natural shade on a working desk light, which is a rare combination. Most desk lamps are metal or plastic because they need to be adjustable and durable; this one accepts a slightly softer form in exchange for texture.
Light escapes through the weave as well as from the open base, so the lamp lights a desk while printing a fine shadow pattern onto the surface and the wall behind. It gives a work surface some warmth without needing a second decorative object on it.
