The absence of a cord is the safety point as much as the convenience one. Running mains equipment around a pool requires proper RCD protection and care; a battery unit removes that consideration entirely.

Four configurations are offered. It suits a hot tub, a paddling pool, a spa or the shallow end and steps of a larger pool, where a full pool robot is excessive. Empty and rinse the filter after every use rather than storing it loaded, charge it indoors and never charge it near the pool, and dry the unit before storing.
